Service Hours for Mobile Services:

Monday -Saturdays
10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

If you wish for an appointment outside our normal mobile business hours, please call 707-854-8607, these appointments will also incur an additional $75 after-hours fee. Services booked during holidays will incur a $100 surcharge on top of service booked. We try to accommodate last-minute appointments but it is not always possible.

Payment

A 50% deposit is required to reserve and secure your appointment. Charges will be applied to the credit card on file after the completion of the services. For groups/events/parties, a 50% deposit is required to reserve and secure the date (which will go towards the final total ) and a signed service agreement. Appointments are confirmed only once a credit card and/or deposit is received.

Minimum Service Charge

All in-home services are subject to a minimum service charge of $150, even if the chosen services total less. Travel fees, if added, are not part of the minimum service charge.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made before 48 hours before your appointment start time to avoid a 50% charge. Appointments booked the same day and canceled or rescheduled will be charged 100% of the services. Any service change(s) with less than 48 hours' notice of appointment start time, will still be charged in full for all services booked if that equals less than the original booking. Groups and events will need to cancel 5 days ahead of your appointment time to avoid losing your deposit.

No Shows/Running Behind

If the technician cannot reach the client, or the client is not at the specified location and/or cannot be serviced for any reason, or health conditions were not disclosed at the time of booking, we reserve the right to:

  • Shorten the services
  • Refuse service due to undisclosed conditions
  • Cancel the appointment after the 15-minute grace period
  • **And be charged the full amount of the services booked for these reasons.**

Please be mindful of the nail technician(s)time. We allow enough time for service and travel time and they may have other clients scheduled after the appointment, so they must be able to start on time. Otherwise, the services may have to be shortened and/or canceled and the client will be charged 100% of the service.

There is a 15-minute grace period after this we might not be able to provide the service, if you’re going to be late, please let us know as early as possible and we will try to make work with the client.

If for any reason the esthetician is running late, we will notify you as soon as possible and your service will not be affected.

Parking Fees

The client is responsible for any fees incurred while providing your services, including but not limited to parking, valet, and tolls. These fees are added to your service total.

Please be mindful of parking and notify us of any situations/issues we might come into due to all the equipment we have to carry.

Travel Fees

All traveling fees for our in-home mobile services are included in the service price if you’re located within a service radius of Benicia/Vallejo/American Canyon. Traveling fees will be determined upon making the appointment if you’re outside our usual service area. Travel fees, if added, are not part of the minimum service charge.

Gratuity

Gratuities are not included in the service charge but are optional and always appreciated. If you choose to add gratuities, we can add them to your final total when we charge for services.

Refusal of Services

Skin Deep reserves the right to refuse services if we determine there are any contraindications, or medical conditions that were not disclosed at the time of reservation or if the client acts inappropriate

This would include conditions such as open wounds, fungus, and infectious diseases. If we arrive and are unable to provide service for any of these reasons, we reserve the right to refuse service and the client will still be charged for services. Before all Mobile Appointments, a Skin Consultation will be conducted over the phone that will involve questions regarding your medical background and skin conditions.

How Mobile Spa/Appointments Work

Our Estheticians will bring everything needed to perform the service. We bring towels, tools, bowls, stools, mats, a manicure table, and a variety of polish/gels to choose from. We use disposable single-use nail files, buffers, and pedicure bowl liners that are discarded after each client. We also disinfect all metal implements with hospital-grade disinfectant and an autoclave. The only things we ask the client to provide are seating, outlets, and access to water for the pedicures.

Why are prices higher than the normal In-house services?

The reason the prices are higher than in-person treatments is not only for the quality of services itself but for the convenience and total time involved. The idea of the mobile service is to be convenient for the client, so the estheticiant must in turn take the burden of the inconvenience to make that possible. This is all translated through the cost of the service. By comparison, though, you will find that our prices are very comparable to other mobile esthetician services, if not lower.

Technicians and Experience

We are experienced in servicing and accommodating clients with any health conditions or special needs.

We provided services to clients from children to seniors: with diabetes, cancer patients, bed/home-bound, mobility issues, chronic to terminal illness, etc. We ensure that the client receives the service needed and is comfortable, relaxed, and pampered.

Covid 19 Precautions

All of our technicians are practicing safe protocols to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We are following all our standard safe protocols plus more based on the guidelines set by the state and federal guidelines. Masks and gloves are worn at all times.

In the event the technician or the client develops symptoms, the appointment will be rescheduled for another date without penalty.

Our business has always taken extra safety and health precautions before Covid.

Our standard procedures: we always use new disposable and supplies. Anything disposable, we do not reuse. All our metal implements are cleaned, sanitized, disinfected, and autoclaved. The pedicure tub and manicure table are wiped down with our disinfection wipes before every service. We are certified in all our services, products, and cleaning products we use. We always use gloves for all services.

Additional new procedures due to COVID-related safety measures, on top of what we already do, is our nail techs always wear masks to protect our clients and well as having the client wear one as well. For mobile services, we are limited on what safety measurements we can do because we are coming into your space/home/office, but we do everything on our end so we possibly can have a clean and sterile service
